Administrative Assistant for our Mobile, AL office. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor’s or an Associate’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of solid secretarial/administrative experience. Candidates must have a professional image; be extremely organized with strong follow through, have excellent communication skills, have multi-tasking abilities, and be a team player. Candidates must have proficiency using Microsoft products including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Structural Engineer for our New Orleans, LA, office. Successful candidates shall be licensed Professional Engineers having a minimum of 8+ years of professional experience in bridge design and experience with the AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications. Candidates must have experience in superstructure design (prestressed concrete girders, straight and curved steel plate girders, and concrete decks), substructure design and foundation design, along with experience in preparing plans and specifications for construction. Candidates must possess excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills and be proficient with bridge design software. Proficiency with MicroStation is a plus. Construction Inspectors (Level 1, Level 2 and Senior Inspectors) with Road and Bridge Construction Inspection experience for our Mobile, AL, or Tuscaloosa, AL, offices. Candidates will be involved in field observing, documenting, and recording the activities of construction contractors throughout the City of Mobile, Mobile County, and the Southwest region of ALDOT. They will be required to understand plans and specifications as well as calculate project quantities. Ideal candidates will have strong verbal and written communication skills, be highly organized and capable of working with a diverse team in a challenging environment, and be able to handle multiple tasks.
