Port of Shreveport-Bossier GIS Assessment and Comprehensive Plan

BKI performed a GIS assessment and developed a comprehensive project plan in order to give the Port a guideline for the development of their GOS. The assessment included documenting the Port's existing data sources and database systems as well as a user needs analysis based on information collected during the assessment, BKI developed a detailed project plan for developing GIS data for the Port and a 2-mile buffer around the existing Port property for analyzing future expansion. BKI also evaluated alternative for integrating existing database systems into the GIS to help improve inter-departmental sharing of common information.
