Phenix City Hydrant Database Integration to GIS

Phenix City had an existing hydrant information database, but it had no link to a GIS. The City contracted BKI to link this database to the GIS to prevent the need for storing duplicate information in two different places. BKI evaluated the data structure of the existing database system and determined a link from the existing database system to the GIS. BKI developed the required link data in the GIS by associating unique hydrant ID information from the hydrant database to its respective hydrant point feature in the GIS.
