Illinois Central Rail Marine Terminal Environmental Permits
The Illinois Central Rail Marine Terminal is a trans-shipment bulk terminal, located in St. James Parish, Louisiana, which was constructed in 1997/98. ICRMT will move bulk quantities of coal, coke, and iron ore. BKI was contracted to prepare a Louisiana Water Discharge Permit System (LWDPS) for stormwater, industrial waste water, and sanitary wastewater discharges. The following tasks were completed to prepare this plan review proposed drawings and specs; identify all discharge locations; calculate discharges for each location; and develop the permit application.
