I-10 Widening, Veterans Blvd. to Clearview Pkwy

BKI was selected by the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development to provide the addition of auxiliary lanes and median lanes to I-10 between Clearview Pkwy. and Veterans Blvd. Auxiliary lane additions connect entrance ramps to exit ramps between each existing interchange on I-10. Median lane additions continue previous capacity upgrade to I-10 out to the Veterans Blvd. interchange in accordance with the environmental assessment for upgrades to the I-10 corridor through Jefferson Parish. Bridge widening of the existing I-10 bridges over Transcontinental Dr. are included in thie project, with each bridge addition consisting of AASHTO PPC girders on concrete column bents.
