Burk-Kleinpeter,
Inc. was selected to prepare a Master Plan
for the Bonnabel Recreation Complex
located at the end of Bonnabel Blvd. in
Lake Pontchartrain in Jefferson
Parish.
The complex includes
a calm water harbor for small craft,
multiple lane small boat launch ramps,
fishing pier, concrete jetties, steel
sheet pile bulkheads and access piers
around the perimeter of the
harbor.
BKI's
responsibilities included master planning,
permitting, public involvement
coordination, and design and construction
administration/resident inspection
services.
The construction
cost for this boat launch and associated
facilities was approximately $2.9
million.
