Bellevue Park Improvements

BURK-KLEINPETER, INC. was selected by the City of Gretna to design improvements to Bellevue Park, a 90-acre area adjacent to Gretna City Park. Bellevue Park is one of the first phases of the Gretna City Park master plan, intended to renovate and expand the existing park area.

BKI developed plans for site improvements which included renovating existing shelters and restroom facilities; as well as, the addition of a new children’s play area, gazebos, benches, walking paths, fencing, and parking. The firm was also responsible for landscaping and subsurface drainage improvements to Lafayette Street, which runs parallel to Bellevue Park.

The total cost of this project was approximately $450,000.
