BKI performed
initial spill response activities
including tank tightness testing, free
product recovery, and abatement measures.
BKI supervised the tank closure, performed
site assessment, designed and installed
groundwater monitoring wells, evaluated
site geology and hydrogeology, and made
recommendations for a corrective action
plan.
The firm evaluated
the site in accordance with the existing
Risk Evaluation/Corrective Action Program
(RECAP) document, developed site-specific
corrective action levels, and prepared a
corrective action plan.
BKI then managed all
aspects of the corrective action plan
implementation, including project design,
plans, and specifications; Health and
Safety Plan; remediation management; and
post-remediation monitoring. The project
also included the preparation of a trust
fund reimbursement application and expert
testimony in a case involving the property
owner and the tenant.
