 Burk-Kleinpeter, Inc. (BKI) was selected by the
Alabama Department of Transportation for
construction administration, resident inspection and
quality control for various projects throughout
Alabama. Services furnished included establishing
project engineering offices completely staffed to
perform construction engineering services,
documentation of contractor’s performances,
construction testing and surveying. BKI also
furnished individual engineers and inspectors to
work within the project offices manned by the
Alabama Department of Transportation. The
construction projects administered and/or inspected
include highways, asphalt, earthwork, drainage
structures, bridges, concrete, signals, traffic
control and other miscellaneous items necessary for
completion of highway construction projects.
